Old Greg's Barley Wine (2017 Vintage)

Originally a home-brew recipe of our Head Brewer, Greg, our Old Greg's Barley Wine is a thing of legend in the Five Points brewing calendar – and this iteration is the first we’ve aged in oak barrels.

Brewed on New Year’s Eve each year, the 2017 vintage was made with Magnum, Simcoe and Brambling Cross hops and left to ferment for a few weeks. It then spent a minimum of two years in red and white wine barrels from the Bourgogne region of France. The end result is a ruby-hued barley wine with delicious fruity notes.

Add some to your mulled wine recipe, and now you're really celebrating Christmas.
